- Located in the heart of the Great Smokey Mountains in the small rural town of Murphy, NC, our business grew out of a love for sewing. Russ is a graduate of Montreat College and a Desert Storm veteran. He worked his way through college working in the local sewing factories-thus his extensive experience in the sewing field. Rhonda's love for quilting began with a gift certificate, to the local quilt shop and the rest is history! Together they run a home based business which they share with their two young daughters. Our customer base ranges from Washington State all the way down to sunny Florida.
