Cats And Water Don't Mix!

This week's giveaway. I know this isn't a great picture. Pumpkin had to take a picture for me with the webcam---it seems our camera is on the fritz. This is three blocks from a block of the month. Does anyone like to do Redwork? This will get you started. You know the routine.
"Sew It All Up" won this week's giveaway for the black and batik blocks. Sorry I never got the picture posted for that (I am such a slacker!). "Sew It All Up" just needs to email me with an address and I will mail your package right out.

This is our cat Lily. Isn't she beautiful? She doesn't look very happy, does she? I have been telling her for some time now that bad things happen when you walk around the edge of the bathtub, which she does early every morning when Tink takes her bath for school. Well, this morning, she took an unexpected dip. Don't worry Lily, you will dry soon.

  7. poor kitty! mine has a habit of watching/visiting me when i take a bath too. luckily for her, it's not that often i get to soak. she's ventured into putting a paw in the water as she tries to climb on me, but discovers she doesn't like it. yeah for me - no scratches!

  12. Okay...I'm new to quilting etc (actually, just finished my first quilt top but have yet to actually quilt it - I'd love good tips, etc from anyone) and I had to look up what redwork was. I have seen it, but never knew what it was called.

Looks fun, thanks for the chance!

  13. Love to do redwork or any kind of embroidery work for that matter. Our furry kids don't walk on the side of the bathtub but are always on the bathroom vanity and want to drink water out of the water faucet.
