The Christmas Rush!!!!!!

We are always so busy at the holidays....not only rushing around shopping, baking, parties at friends' houses and so on. It is difficult sometimes to just stop and enjoy the moment for just what it is. It is about family and friends and giving, but most of all and most important!!...the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus. He gave the ultimate gift to us...the gift of love and life that allows us the freedom to enjoy all those moments with family and friends.

When you look at this quilt, can you see the "wonky" looking trees? Arlene from Florida sent this one to us.

I had previously posted pictures about this one. But I thought it deserved one more look. Alana is giving this one to her daughter...isn't she lucky? We are beginning to see a few flakes on our mountains these days. Definitely puts you in the mood for Christmas.

This log cabin quilt was Shelley's first quilt! She did a beautiful job. We put a brand new pattern on her quilt called "Bubbles". She pieced this for her son in college to go on his bed to keep him toasty warm this winter. Shelley, do you knit socks too?
